This makes it possible for DOCTOR Mi! medical skincare to ensure that no retinol adheres to your skin surface which would irritate and weaken it, but rather that the retinol molecules immediately arrive where they need to and are able to unfold their full anti-aging effect. For whom is the Retinol day cream DAY by Doctor Mi! suitable?

DAY is an anti-aging day cream with Retinol which is suitable for all skin types: from normal skin to sensitive skin to mature skin as well as skin with pigmentation disorders and impurities.

What benefit does Retinol provide in a day cream?

The discovery of Retinol, vitamin A1, was already awarded the Nobel Prize in 1930 - and for good reason: Retinol has a cell-renewing effect on the skin that has been scientifically proven which, consequently, results in a very high skin-improving and anti-aging effect. Further, treating pigmentation disorders and acne with Retinol yields excellent results. The especially high dosage in DAY makes the cream very effective and provides your skin optimal support throughout the day.

What impact does the encapsulated TECMi!®-Retinol have on the Retinol contained in DAY?

Treating your skin with Retinol brings about many benefits. It is important, however, that Retinol does not remain on the surface of the skin, but actually penetrates into the deeper skin layers where it can achieve the desired effect. If it adheres to the skin's surface, it can cause irritation. TECMi!® Technology encapsulates the Retinol molecules twice allowing them to quickly penetrate into the dermis, the lower layer of the skin, without any problems and set the desired anti-aging effect in motion.

Should I avoid Retinol during the day?

Regular Retinol should be used carefully during the day. The TECMi! Retinol contained in DAY can be used without hesitation due to its ability to immediately penetrate the skin layers. The only important thing is that you then use sunscreen with SPF 50+ all year round. This provides your skin ideal protection. We also recommend doing this in general as the sun is known to cause severe damage to the skin.

Does DAY reduce wrinkles and fine lines?

Yes, Retinol has been scientifically proven to reduce wrinkles and fine lines. For a day cream, the dosage of Retinol contained in DAY is ideal. This allows you to support the formation of new collagen which makes your skin more elastic. Its elasticity is strengthened, and your skin feels rejuvenated.
