TONE

TONE is a very mild facial toner by Doctor Mi! medical skincare and yet full of power. Thanks to its exclusive mixture of active ingredients, it gently eliminates impurities and balances your skin's pH value allowing it to even soothe irritated and sensitive skin as well as supporting moisture storage in the long term.

As an AHA toner, TONE contains alpha-hydroxy fruit acids which have a stimulating effect on the skin: they very gently remove dead skin cells without creating a burning sensation. Due to TECMi!® encapsulation, the fruit acids can deeply penetrate your skin where they effectively stimulate cell renewal and achieve a tightening effect. Lactate buffers supply the skin with moisture. TONE leaves a calm, hydrated and refreshed feeling on your skin and prepares it perfectly for the next steps of your skin care.

TONE is also suitable for pigment disorders, rosacea and sensitive skin. The amino acids it contains help achieve a unique anti-aging effect that visibly reduces wrinkles, lines and scars as well as stimulating the metabolism of the epidermis, the top layer of skin.

TONE is composed in such a way that you can spray it over your make-up during the day as a refreshing facial mist or as a setting spray replacement, giving your skin a quick burst of freshness and letting it shine.

TONE is a mild, but very effective toner. The reason: The ingredients are contained in very effective dosages and are harmonized with each other. • TONE is a very mild facial toner that enables gentle cleansing. For oily skin, acne and other impurities though TONE.S is more suitable as the proportion of salicylic acid is higher. This has a particularly oil-dissolving effect and can achieve ideal results with increased sebum production. 
• When applying TONE, you should avoid the eye area as well as your nose and mouth. Leave it on long enough to absorb and do not wash it off to ensure that it can optimally nourish your skin.
• TONE is suitable for external use only. Keep away from children!

Who is the AHA Toner TONE by Doctor Mi! for?

Since TONE is a very mild AHA toner, it is suitable for all skin types, even for dry, sensitive and mature skin.

Does TONE dry out the skin?

No, on the contrary: Thanks to lactate buffers, our mild facial toner TONE does not dry out your skin at all but actually provides it with sufficient moisture. 

Is TONE also suitable for oily skin, acne and impurities?

The AHA fruit acids contained in TONE are water-soluble and are therefore better suited for normal, dry, sensitive and mature skin as well as for pigmentation disorders and redness. If you are looking for the perfect toner to help oily and blemished skin, TONE.S is the ideal choice for you: the salicylic acid (also called beta hydroxy acid, or BHA for short) has an oil-dissolving effect and is contained in a higher dosage in TONE.S,making it the perfect toner for oily and blemished skin. 

Does TONE also help with pigmentation disorders?

Yes, it does: TONE is a helpful supplement for pigmentation or age spots that reduces blemishes and noticably refines your skin texture.

Can I increase the effects of TONE even more?

Yes, this is certainly possible: By thoroughly cleansing your skin with our cleansing gel CLEAN first, you can remove make-up and grime from your skin to prepare it correctly for the treatment with TONE. If you want to create an even more effective combination, then also include PEEL, using it ideally between CLEAN and TONE.

Does Doctor Mi! have a facial toner specifically for men's skin?

Yes, Doctor Mi! medical skincare even has a whole men's line: MEN. This includes the facial toner TONE MEN which was developed especially for the needs of male skin.

Does TONE contain any alcohol?

Yes, TONE contains alcohol but there is no need to worry: Alcohol helps to remove germs and bacteria, meaning it has a cleansing effect. It does, however, depend on the correct dosage: The product formulation of TONE is very mild and lactate buffers additionally ensure that your skin is supplied with moisture rather than being dried out.

How do I correctly incorporate TONE into my skincare routines?

Do I have to wash off TONE after applying it?

No, you do not have to and actually should not wash off our AHA Toner TONE at all after applying it, since you would be removing the vast amount of active ingredients that nourish your skin.
