The Doctor Mi! evening routine for mature skin provides your skin with the right ingredients that promote its regeneration at night and gives you a firm and rejuvenated complexion.

The Doctor Mi! evening routine for mature skin gives you a whole range of high-quality active ingredients that help your skin to become fresher and more radiant.

The complexion of the skin is constantly changing, especially the older you get. As soon as you go to bed, your skin starts working: it actively regenerates and repairs skin damage that has occurred over the day. A continuous care routine in the evening has a decisive influence on the efficiency of this natural process.

The Doctor Mi! evening routine for mature skin nourishes your skin with vitalizing ingredients and supports a smooth complexion. Our care instructions show you how you can create the best foundation in the evening for smooth skin in the morning. You will also find further tips that will help you to relax in the evening and thereby bring your skin into its balance.

When you go to sleep, your skin becomes active. It uses the night to renew itself from the inside. With a continuous and skin-specific care routine you will support the optimal development of the skin's own self-healing powers and foster a smooth, fresh complexion. In order to understand the needs of your skin and therefore also the relevance of night care, it is important to know which internal and external factors influence skin aging everyday.

Mature skin is in a constant state of transformation, which, in addition to the natural, genetic aging process, is largely determined by the external factors to which it is exposed to during the day.

  • Stress
Your skin and your psychological well-being are closely interwoven. Stress actually gets “under the skin” because the nerve endings sit in the skin and smuggle cortisol in, a stress hormone. Chronic stress weakens the protective shield of the epidermis, the upper layer of the skin, which causes inflammatory reactions in the skin. Cortisol makes the skin thinner and prone to irritation. Your skin's sensitivity to stress increases with age, as the skin barrier loses protection. Your skin therefore reacts more to the aging-promoting hormone cortisol. It seems irritated, tired and slack and tends to wrinkle more often.
  • Sleep
Your skin actively works to regenerate and repair damaged skin cells while you sleep. Prolonged sleep deprivation prevents this natural, cell-renewing anti-aging process of your skin and leads to premature aging of the skin.
  • Lifestyle
The consumption of luxury foods such as alcohol, an unbalanced diet and, above all, UVA and UVB radiation will promote the formation of free radicals. These cause negative chain reactions and inhibit the formation of new collagen, creating wrinkles and lines. In order to meet the needs of mature skin, to prevent permanent skin damage and to maintain a healthy complexion, we recommend a continuous care routine in the evening.

The Doctor Mi! evening routine will offer your skin with high-quality, skin-specific ingredients that effectively supply it during the night.

CLEAN is a gentle but thorough cleansing gel. Use a small amount and spread it all over your face, including the eye area. Massage the care product into your face in circular motions for 2-3 minutes with wet hands. This frees it from the deposits that have accumulated over the day. Then wash your face with lukewarm water. Use a clean towel to dry off.

Tap a small amount of EYE into the entire eye area, avoid rubbing and let them be absorbed. Start using EYE once a day and slowly increase to twice a day, every morning and evening, if your skin takes to it.

Spray TONE.S 2-3 times on a cotton pad and swipe it in circular motions over your face, neck and décolletage. Avoid contact with eyes, nose, and mouth with this product. The high salicylic acid content removes dead skin cells and cleanses clogged pores. TONE.S leaves a soothing feeling on the skin.

Use either RED or NIGHT for evening care:

NIGHT is an effective and beneficial night care. It supports the moisture storage of your skin and stabilizes its natural skin barrier. Use NIGHT in the evening after cleansing and apply it evenly to your face, neck and décolletage. Gently massage in the care until it is completely absorbed. The effective night care contains the active ingredient Retinol, which helps you to reduce uneven pigmentation. In addition, the Defensil®-Plus active ingredient complex it contains supports your skin in its natural skin metabolism regulation during the night and reduces fine lines and wrinkles overnight.

Use 1–2 pumps of RED and apply it on your face. The high concentration of Retinol directly stimulates your collagen production and prevents skin aging. RED is a real active ingredient superhero and helps you to achieve a long-term radiant complexion.

Important: Use either RED or NIGHT. Start using RED once or twice a week. If your skin takes to it, you can slowly increase the integration of RED into your evening routine. It can be used up to 5 times a week in place of the NIGHT. We recommend working the care product into the skin with the help of the NEEDLER two evenings a week.

Apply a small amount of LIP on your lips every day and let the care balm soak in. Repeat several times a day if necessary. LIP effectively prevents lip wrinkles, increases lip volume and intensifies the red of the lips in a natural way.

Your evening care routine prepares your skin optimally for the regeneration processes that take place during the night. Here you will find further tips on how you can promote inner peace through simple and recurring rituals to relax your skin.

  • Stretch it out!
In everyday life, you don't always have enough time to exercise and in the evening you feel tense? So do many of us. Ten minutes of light stretching, paired with conscious and deep breathing, promotes blood circulation and your skin is supplied with sufficient oxygen. This not only stimulates the skin-rejuvenating process of producing new collagen but conscious breathing also leads to an immediate improvement in physical tension.
  • Facial steam baths
A steam bath for the face is a tried and tested care ritual and prepares your skin optimally for further steps in your care routine. Blood circulation is promoted, your complexion is immediately invigorated, and a relaxing effect sets in through the warmth created by it. For a facial steam bath, pour 1.5 liters of hot water into a large bowl, hold your face at least 10 centimeters above the surface of the water and cover the back of your head with a large towel to prevent the steam from escaping. For a special wellness factor, add soothing tea leaves, such as chamomile or lavender flowers, to the water. Sea salt can also be used as it has a disinfecting and soothing effect on your skin. As the heat opens your pores, a steam bath optimally prepares your skin for the evening care routine.
  • Cell phone detox
If possible, try not to take your phone to bed with you. It has become a habit for many of us to scroll through social media channels or read the news on our cell phones before bed. The blue light of the mobile device prevents our brain from releasing the sleep hormone melatonin, which unbalances our natural sleep rhythm and makes healthy, restful sleep difficult.

Tip: In addition to the right evening routine, it also comes down to the right morning routine for mature skin!
