DEVELOPMENT OF THE UNIQUE FORMULA
An effective product that meets her skin's needs and provides it with the best possible care: Despite several efforts, Miriam Rehbein's search for a product that met these simple requirements of her skin proved futile and frustrating. Too many irritating ingredients, too low concentrations, ineffective formulations with no hoped-for effects: None of the products on the market were able to convince the then student of her desire for simple facial care for healthy skin.
BETWEEN SPECIALIST AND BUSINESS WOMAN
After several years of dealing directly with the concerns and problems of patients on the one hand and intensive research on the other, the time was ripe: Dr. Rehbein followed her desire and her idea of a skincare line that provides optimal care for even the most demanding skin.
In the meantime, she had been running her own practice, Dermatologie am Friedensengel, and her own cosmetics institute, Isarkosmetik, for several years. But she still wanted to work on highly effective
solutions for deeply healthy, radiant skin that everyone can have.
FROM MUNICH TO SOUTH AFRICA: MEDICAL CAREER
Miriam Rehbein gave her prescriptions to patients for remixing at the pharmacy on direct request - in view of the excellent results she had achieved herself - while she was still a student. However, the formulations varied greatly depending on the pharmacy - and therefore also the consistency and potency of the
formulations. The desire to create her own skincare line was there, but Dr. Rehbein's focus was on her career as a dermatology specialist.
As a doctor, I am absolutely convinced of study-proven active ingredients. However, these active ingredients are often used in cosmetics that are too low in dosage or quality to deliver visible results. In addition, pointless, counterproductive and irritating additives are often added. DOCTOR MI! medical skincare is free of such compromises.
After four years of intensive research and product development, a new, exciting chapter began for Dr. Rehbein in 2018: better known today as DOCTOR MI! medical skincare. The skincare line, which has been a success for several years now, is still personally curated by Dr. Rehbein: from active ingredient compositions to
product design and advertising materials. The special combination of deep-technological and organic active ingredients is what makes this skincare range so effective. Thanks to the special active ingredient complexes, Dr. Miriam Rehbein has succeeded in tapping into active ingredient potential for the regeneration and cell renewal of the skin in the form of highly effective skincare products.
